We worked very hard to find a way to make a shoe that is kinder on our planet. This is not a particularly easy thing to do. We live in a fast fashion world where designers and makers have very few renewable material choices. So we had to turn the production cycle inside out and take a hard look at every component that went into our product. After two years and  a lot  of trial and error, the BENDY launched in February 2019.  We are very proud of what we created. I am feeling very appreciative today. We launched the BENDY in February on Ashbury Skies and the response has been amazing. Our shoe is made in California and we focused on carbon emissions when created the BENDY.

Many shoes on the market are made from dozens of components, often sourced from around the world, that are glued and sewn together. Bendy, on the other hand, consists of only five components  so it is more simply made. This reduces the amount of energy required to transport and manufacture the shoe.  And, since the BENDY is  manufactured in California, which is closer to the U.S. consumer, and they are cut close to order, which means there is less wasted inventory.

The Bendy is a modern, comfortable shoe, handcrafted in California. This project is our first proprietary shoe brand.  Yep, we stuck our necks out and the results are in.  Customer are calling the BENDY the most comfortable shoe they own.
